So it's no secret I hardly play this lagfest anymore, but when I do I fly and when I fly I die and then I cry cuz I'm bad.
With that out of the way, I see a lot of talk from people on the forums who I've never seen fly, and they go on and on about how "good pilots" can dodge swarms.
Ok. I'd like to see some video. I don't want your elaborate fictional explanation, I just want some simple footage of ADS reliably dodging swarms like these forum nobodies keep implying. Since it's so simple it should be easy for someone to whip me up a video of it, because I am very clearly doing something very wrong.
So. Enlighten me.

You've been trolled.
Get good at forums and the game *breaks down crying*
OH GOD WHY CAN'T I BE SO GOOD LYKE YOUUUU!?!!?!?!?!!??!!?!?
And it has been said, and I know they're stupid. Which is why I'm calling them out. For being bad. Like you. And me. And CCP.

To evade swarms you need to learn to keep moving and don't hover. Use your momentum to swing into position and then swing away. If you know where swarms are then don't go near there.
Also, the Python is better against swarms. Shields take less damage from swarms. A shield booster eve. Works great on an Incubus because it gives you a freebie warning shot then buffers the next shot as you fly away.
In an Incubus, I don't even have an AB usually. I have a scanner and scans can help infantry tske out the swarmer. If you learn to fly mainly using your roll then add a little yaw to that you can fly quickly in a direction rather than float into a direction with just yaw. Quickly roll to the side and then yaw so that you do a quick 180-¦ and fly away.
I don't always evade, but when I do it's because I know where the swarmer is generally operating and work around that area, keeping distance. Useful information to be sure, all of which I'm intrinsically aware of. However, this isn't "dodging" swarms as some forum dreamers seem to think is a thing. Running away isn't an evasive maneuver.

Running away is the very definition of an evasive maneuver and I don't think literally dodging is what people are talking about. More like "dodging" the damage. You know, like "surfing" the Web. If by dodging one means having the swarms hit something else then flying low and getting right behind a building works; Something I rarely do. It's easier to fly away and then circle back around. However, I like to think of "not getting close to the swarmer's area of operation" to be dodging. An easive maneuver isnt running away because you stay in the fight. It's how you fight FG and PLC and missile and blaster turrets, you calculate their likely trajectory and alter your flight path to dodge while still remaining in the engagements. Running away is retreating, and in most cases is the only viable option vs swarms
